Femme Fatale Friday for my favorite Bond Girl of all time

 

💘  Happy Birthday to Kristina Wayborn, my favorite Bond Girl of all time for this weeks, Femme Fatale Friday.

Born Britt-Ingea Johansson in Nybro Sweden in 1950, she was Miss Sweden in 1970, then was a Semi-Finalist for Miss Universe, while the same year being elected Miss Scandinavia.

Her breakout role came in, The Silent Lovers (1980) when she portrayed Greta Garbo.  Even though Wayborn speaks English with a flawless American accent, she adopted a thick Swedish accent for the role of Garbo, even all the cast & crew were fooled until she suddenly started speaking with her regular voice on set.  Wayborn claims she was blackballed by the films producer for jilting his advances for her to become his girlfriend.

After her role in, The Silent Lovers and her popular poster with a tiger 🐯, James Bond producers took notice of her.  Wayborn was originally considered for the female lead in 1981's, For Your Eyes Only but was later cast as Magda in 1983's, Octopussy.  Her appearance made Wayborn a world wide sex symbol.

Even though she had a very athletic background, Wayborn broke several toes when she kicked a bazooka out of the hands of one of Kamal's henchmen in the climactic final fight scene at his palace.  The bazooka was supposed to have been replaced with a plastic one for the stunt, but someone screwed up.

Wayborn seemed to have a knack for the fight scenes, displaying a skill for Martial Arts and amazing agility, she was known for "beating up" several of Kamal's henchmen in some of the fight scenes.

Her famous scene of backflipping off out the window and sliding down to the ground was offered to a stuntwoman but Wayburn demanded to do the scene herself, and got it on the first take.

Wayborn did many television appearances; The Love Boat, McGyver, Airwolf, Dallas, Baywatch and many others. 📺

Femme Fatale Friday : Elle Fanning

 

The amazing, Elle Fanning seems to be some kind of porcelain princess straight out of some enchanted fairy tale, best known for her role in the fairy tale turned upside down, Maleficent.

The younger, yet taller sister of the equally amazing and beautiful Dakota Fanning, her career and future just keeps on getting brighter.

The statuesque beauty (5'9"), nicknamed "Elbow" (maybe she used hers to tag up someone staring at those legs 😆), has also been modeling for a lot of her life, who celebrates her birthday on April 9th.

Fanning's mother was a professional tennis player and her father was a minor league baseball player.

She began her career doubling for her sister in, I Am Sam, and, Taken.

Then on her own in a small role for, Daddy Day Care, with appearances on the small screen on, Judging Amy, and, CSI Miami.

Her own film work began with Door in the Floor, Because of Winn-Dixie, and, I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With.

Her first starring role came in, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Super 8, and, We Bought A Zoo.  Her real breakout was as Aurora in, Maleficent.

Now that Hollywood has opened back up we can only hope that she's back at work again soon, shining on the silver screen and in our hearts! 💖

If I'd had known that there was a woman even half this incredible on a golf course, I might have given the game a more fair try, even without the windmill, giant clown head & dinosaur...

One time golfer and commentator, now she just seems to be the leading cause of global HOTNESS, this beauty is reason enough for anyone to tee-up

Raised in Marysville Ohio, she attended Michigan State University, in 2007 she led the Lady Spartans to a Big 10 Conference Championship, before becoming a pro golfer and college football sideline commentator.

The 5'8" Pisces had wanted to be a pro golfer since she was a little girl, influenced a lot by her mother.  She won her first organized golf tournament at age 7, unfortunately a knee injury at 20 ended her pro career.  She started with The Golf Channel in 2011 then moved on to Fox Sports in 2016.  She's been featured by golf.com as one of the Beauties of Golf from 2013 to 2017, we'd sure like to see more of her again!

She turned heads in the remake for, Bedazzled, in her devilishly sexy outfits.

Showed her comedic side in, Austin Powers International Man of Mystery.

The 5'8" former Super Model (do any of them really ever stop being super?  Not so far as I've seen) was married from 2007 to 2011 and has a 16 year old son.

From the pictures she's shared in 2018 on social media, it looks as if the British born beauty is enjoying life more than ever!💖
